On March 7, Bubba’s Bowl joined the Henderson community for Bark in the Park, and it was another fantastic day meeting local dogs and their owners.
Events like this are one of the best ways for us to connect directly with the people who care deeply about their pets’ nutrition. Throughout the day we met dozens of dog owners curious about fresh food, many of whom stopped by to learn more about what makes Bubba’s Bowl different.
Featuring Our Turkey and Pork Recipes
At the event we showcased both of our fresh, small-batch meals:
Bubba’s Bowl Turkey RecipeOur original recipe and longtime favorite, made with human-grade turkey and carefully selected vegetables.
Bubba’s Bowl Pork RecipeOur newest recipe, which many dogs at the event tried for the first time. The response was immediate - plenty of happy pups and empty sample cups.
Both recipes are handcrafted in small batches with real ingredients you can see and recognize.
Taste Tests and Take-Home Samples
One of the highlights of Bark in the Park was watching dogs try fresh food for the first time.
Visitors could give their dogs taste test samples of both the Turkey and Pork recipes, and the reactions were priceless. Many dogs quickly decided fresh food was their new favorite.
We also offered 3-cup and 6-cup take-home samples so pet parents could continue the experience at home and see how their dogs respond over several meals.
A Look at What’s Inside Bubba’s Bowl
One thing that made this event extra special was our visual ingredient display.
We brought a full display showing the fresh vegetables that go into Bubba’s Bowl, giving visitors a chance to see exactly what their dogs are eating. Ingredients like carrots, leafy greens, and other wholesome vegetables were laid out so people could connect the finished meal with the real foods used to make it.
For many visitors, seeing the ingredients in their whole form made the difference between “dog food” and real food made for dogs.
The Ball Pool Returns
Just like our previous events, we also brought along one of the most popular attractions - the tennis ball pool.
Dogs of all sizes jumped in to grab their favorite ball, burn off some energy, and have a little fun before heading back for another taste test.
Between the fresh food, the ingredient display, and the play area, there was plenty for pups (and their humans) to enjoy.
Thank You to Everyone Who Stopped By
We want to thank everyone who visited the Bubba’s Bowl booth at Bark in the Park on March 7. Meeting members of the local dog community and hearing about your pets is always the best part of these events.
